Eyebrows can make the most dramatic difference to the basic symmetry and enhancement of the face. Good eyebrows can change the way you feel and restore lost confidence. Perfect brows frame your face instantly and can make you look younger and more refreshed.
Micropigmentation, also known as semi-permanent makeup, is a cosmetic procedure to create long lasting brows that are bespoke to you and designed especially for you. This custom design takes into consideration your face shape, skin type and undertone, eye colour and hair colour. Specially formulated, gold standard pigments are deposited just under the first layer of skin using a sterile needle and a pen like machine.
At By Aislinn Studio there are 3 brow techniques on offer.
For optimal results each brow technique is a two-step process with approx. 8 weeks apart.
The Misty brow technique creates beautifully pixelated brows. It is ideal for clients who like a more “filled-in” brow or who have had previous micropigmentation/microblading. This type of brow is especially good for those with oily or combination skin.
Nano hairstrokes is a minimally invasive technique that provides hairstrokes with very little trauma to the skin. This technique mimics the look of hair to create hyper realistic eyebrows.
Combo brows offers a combination of machine hairstrokes and shading. This service is ideal for those with oily skin, previous tattoos, or those that desire a bit more density than hairstrokes alone.
3D Areola and Nipple Reconstruction is suitable for both women and men and is the finally stage of breast reconstruction following Mastectomy. This form of micropigmentation is also suitable for trans and non-binary clients following top surgeries and reconstruction.
Areola tattoos are not confined to post surgery clients but are also offered to clients that may want to change the colour or shape of the areola. Because there is no colour defining the nipple or areola after breast reconstruction, a tattoo is optimal for adding colour. I use light and dark pigments to add colour and shading that gives the illusion that the nipple is raised. This treatment is a two-step process with appointments approx. 8 weeks apart.
It is important to note that you must be completely finished your surgical process and be a minimum of 6 months post final surgery.
MCA Scar Revision is a non-surgical procedure that involves the use of fine needles to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin. This technique can be beneficial for various types of scars, including those resulting from surgeries, injuries, acne or stretch marks.
During MCA scar revision, the fine needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body's natural healing response and encouraging the formation of new collagen fibers. This process helps to improve the texture and appearance of scars by promoting skin regeneration and reducing scar tissue.
MCA scar revision may be suitable for individuals looking to minimize the visibility of scars, enhance skin texture, and achieve a more even skin tone. It is a versatile procedure that can be applied to scars on different parts of the body.
As a nurse and medical tattooist, Aislinn offers MCA scar revision as part of a comprehensive approach to scar management, helping you achieve improved cosmetic outcomes and increased confidence in your appearance. However, it's essential to assess each person's specific needs and suitability for the procedure, considering factors such as the type and age of the scar, overall health, and any potential contraindications.
