Brow micropigmentation is also known as cosmetic tattooing or PMU. It entails the process of implanting pigment just below the surface of the skin. I use a digital hand held machine with individual sterile needles. This technique is suitable for people who have overplucked, have thin brows or lost their brows due to Alopecia, Trichotillomania or chemotherapy. Micropigmentation will gently enhance your natural features and create bespoke brows that are customised to your facial features.
The procedure is approx. 2-3 hours long, this includes a consultation and a detailed aftercare discussion
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different and I will do my best to keep you as comfortable as possible. The skin will be numbed throughout the procedure and most people barely feel it, some even fall asleep.
All clients are required to have a patch test prior to their appointment. Anyone that refuses a patch test will not have their procedure carried out.
Absolutely, Areola tattooing is as safe as any other tattooing procedure. Ensuring you choose an artist that has excellent hygiene and sterilization practices ensures the risk of infection is kept to a minimum.
I do my best to ensure the tattooing process is as painless as possible. Depending on your particular surgery there may be a small amount of sensation but this is usually mild and I ensure to numb you throughout the procedure.
You will need to be a minimum of 6 months healed following your final surgery.
